About
Why we build Xyber One.
Cybersecurity needs more people, and too many capable beginners never find a way in. Xyber One exists to change that, one focused session at a time.
Mission
Our mission.
Help anyone go from “interested in cybersecurity” to job-ready for a specific role, through short, role-based learning on their phone.
Today, beginners face many career paths and no map. Resources are long courses or scattered blogs rather than bite-sized, role-mapped practice, and learners have no clear signal of readiness. Xyber One answers all three.
Principles
What we believe.
01
Roles, not random topics
People get hired into roles. Every path in Xyber One starts from the job and works backwards to the skills.
02
Small steps compound
Focused daily sessions beat a long course you never finish. We design for the phone and the commute.
03
Proof beats promises
A readiness score and a verifiable certificate tell an employer, and you, where you really stand.
04
Safe by design
Practical content is simulated and sandboxed, and our tutor teaches defence, never harm.
Audience
Who it is for.
We design for four kinds of learner, and check every screen against each of them.
Jess, 28
The career switcher
IT support professional moving into security. Wants a clear path to a first security role.
Liam, 21
The student
Computer science student. Exploring domains, building fundamentals, preparing for certifications.
Daniel, 35
The upskiller
SOC analyst aiming to become a Threat Hunter. Wants targeted, advanced modules and skill proof.
Mia, 25
The interview prepper
Interviews lined up. Needs fast MCQs, scenarios and a readiness score.
Quality
How we keep content right.
A security learner who is taught something wrong is worse off than one who learned nothing. So content quality is a process, not a promise.
- Every module is authored once and linked to many roles, so quality improves everywhere at once.
- A second subject-matter expert reviews each MCQ before it ships.
- Question banks span three difficulty bands, with at least twenty items in every module.
- Every item has a Report issue button that feeds a triage queue.
- Answers flagged in the AI Tutor go to a content review queue.
- Content moves through draft, review and published states with versioning.
Want to build this with us?
We are looking for security professionals who can contribute and review content, and partners who care about getting more people into the field.
